A local symbol
The straight line belongs to men, the curved one to God. Antoni Gaudí inspired by Gaudí’s masterpieces, we offer a radical in plan and adaptable in section idea. This idea simplifies both the implementation and the user experience. The project makes use of locally sourced materials and labor. The building process is improved by employing brick and lime rendering, which evokes the village’s materiality. Furthermore, the curtain facade promotes air flow and natural light. The permeable building also replenishes the surrounding environment. In addition, we opted to repurpose existing building materials in the new construction.

Organize the landscape
Unlike self-centered, formal buildings that alter the landscape to human perception, our building is generated by the landscape. The landscape supports the building’s construction while creating unexpected scenarios. The compositions of the two buildings form the entrance sequence and the opening to the agricultural landscape. The project’s radical shape intervenes with the sceneries, establishing new relationships between man and nature. The increased tree density offers a versatile environment for a variety of activities. The circulation of the project completes the current one and creates a route system that guides exploration of the region.

Organize the experience
The structure serves as a point of inspiration for both artists and tourists. The surprising series of rooms and lighting patterns allows artists and inhabitants to investigate nature, art, and oneself. The optimized structure, which was influenced by Gaudí’s suspension idea, lessens the impact on the earth while updating the building method. Furthermore, the structural lightness and tactile roughness of the brick emphasize the light’s timeless appeal.
